yep went outside and looked. Old relay board doesn't have any jumpers. the new one has jumpers in there. I bet i blew the main board up which might explain why the old relay board is now tripping the breaker also?
guess i'll have to try the new one without the jumpers and see what happens...
crap my bad. right there one sentence about those jumpers...not good.

well its hooked up right now. Still tripping. I'll need to make sure that gfci breaker is ok now before i rule anything else out...it could have fried.
main board transformer looks good and split second led flash when i flip the breaker so hopefully i didn't blow the main board or anything up...maybe i just fried the gfci with any luck

Try disconnecting your heater now and see if that stops the breaker from tripping.

Still trips. I read up on those pins...so now i see what happened. I installed this myself a few years ago it was a friends originally...so those jumpers we're already set i never had to touch them. I thought in the instructions the jumpers refered to we're the jumper wires from the relay -> main
Anyways reading on the back of the iq2020 panel the jumpers were in place for 110, no jumpers is 220 permantly installed which is what i needed.
Not sure if that would have blown the main board or the possibly the gfci...i know the relay board is still good. I'm hoping the main board is ok...if that had made it though i would think expecting 110 and getting 200 would blow that board mounted transformer or smoke something up...at least on the relay board which didn't happen.
At the breaker box the white neutral wire coming out of the gfci has some slight smoke burn on it...so hoping i just fried something in there.
Not sure how i can test this gfci 20 amp to see if it trips no matter what..will disconnecting the load side wires and seeing if it still trips do that?
unfortunately these double pole 20 and 30 am gfci are IMPOSSIBLE to find....when i couldn't find em..i went back to my friends and got the original subpanel with em in them..

I think this is solved. Disconnected load from gfci and it still trips.
Additionally the gfci bus bar wire is has some smoke on it right where it enters the breaker so looks like the gfci overheated or whatever protection circuit in there got wacked pretty good.
So hopefully after thats replaced this temporary screw up will solve it and the main board isn't bad...i'm pretty confident it will be ok.

these 20 amp double pole gfci's are insanely prices everywhere. The pumps take a 20amp, the heater 30. Can i slap a 50 amp gfci in my main panel then regular breakers in my subpanel?
