Hello forum, I have a Highlife thats about 10years old. It has 2 gfci breakers, one 20 amp, one 30 amp. I know The 20 is the pumps and the 30 is the heater. My 30 is tripping, I unplugged both heater plugs (there are two from the heater 2 elements, to the control box) and it still trips.
question?
Does this mean I should look to the gfci, or is there something in the control box I should check. By control box I mean the spa control box.

question 2
When testing the heater do I just test across the plug blades? the hot spings have a plug similar to a plug that goes into an outlet from a common appliance.

Thanks

Any recent wiring? If not, either a bad breaker, fouled up electrical run, or some damaged wires inside the control box.

On the heater plug, the two rounded prongs are the "hot" leads, while the flat one is ground.

Are you 100% sure you have unplugged both heating elements, and not another component by mistake? If so, then I wouldn't worry about troubleshooting the elemts at this point. First, find out why that 30amp breaker is tripping.... once you have that straightened out, then worry about the elements... quite likely you won't have too :D
