PostPosted: Sun Feb 29, 2004 5:26 pm
My hot tub will heat but only to a point where the water is lukewarm. My GFCI trips constantly. My heater elements show signs of corrosion and t was only after I cleaned thme that the GFCI sis not trip and the water got to lukewarm. Can anyone tell me if I need to replace the Eletric Heater assembly? Thanks.

Yes, and Yes. You need to replace your heater or element. You didn't mention what kind or brand that you have, so that's the best I can tell you for right now :)

Considering you were able to actually see the heater corrosion, my guess is it's the first one with a full size 2" flow thru heater.
