I recently bought a used spa and i plugged it and nothing happens at all. The part that the wire is hooked up to is all rusted out. (sorry i dont know the name of the unit) I made sure the GFCI wasnt tripped. is there anything i can try or do you all think i have to buy a new one. Also could someone tell me what the unit is called that all the plugs are are plugged into and what is average cost for one. Thanks

I think you are referring to a control box, but to be sure, if you could provide a picture, that would be most helpful

sorry cant provide a pic... ill try to describe , has four places for plugs but there are only 3 plugs that i can put into it and the wire to plug into the wall comes from it and it does have a GFCI which when unit is plugged in i can test it and when i have it unplugged the test does not work. Also only plug goes directly to the buttons to push for the light and heat , ect. It looks old and rusty but i was told it the spa did work. They may have lied.

yep, that is the control box, do you have 6 pins on the plug that goes to the topside control?
