I bought a used unit which was running at the time. I have run the 220V from the main electrical box to a GFCI unit outside(attached to house) and ran the wire to the hot tub. Upon hooking up the wires to the hot tub I ran into a problem. The white wire from the 1st juntion/bridge when hooked up will trip the breaker. I can not see where there is a mistake in the 220V coming to the hot tub. If I wire the hot without the white wire, I do get 220V to the far side of the bridge. But that is as far as it will go. Any ideas??

I did find out that the white(nutural wire) in the GFCI was wired wrong. But after correcting that problem I still get no power!. I turn on the on/off switch on the hot tub and nothing happens.
