I have a 2001 downeast spa, with a balboa controll board, it have a bad relay so i replaced the curcuit board, i had a electrician buddy wire it for me, everything is right, at first when he had it jumpered with old board and relay, i was able to run the pumps and heater on low speed and also run the jets, it would just run constant. i got the new curcuit board installed with it still jumpered, turned on power to tub and it ran and heated, my electrician buddy wasnt able to come over until the next day and hitch it up to the relay(it worked bypassed) i got a heater to put in there for the nite so it wouldnt freeze, the next day he came over to wire the relay and it was coming up with errors ho and sn and also tripping breaker, after my friend had left i figgured i was going to try it again and all the readout reads is temp of water, no heat light(it should be calling for heat) its not tripping the breaker anymore, its just in limbo, my friends was trying to figgure out why it ran for me yesterday after i put in the new curcuit board and it wouldnt run today, the only variable i added in was the heater, im stumped any help would be greatly appreciated.
