Been having intermittent problems with spa shutting off for no apparent reason. The solution has been to 1) turn off power at the breaker, 2) wait a while and 3) restore power. Or, if that don't work I simply unplug/replug all the connections on the circuit board (hi-limit, flow, top side) and then it magically works again. The tech I spoke with had me test the hi-limit switch; it's good. He thinks it's a bad circuit board. The error msg on the topside keep reading "Sn1" which means a bad hi-limit switch. But I don't think that's the problem because the hi-limit tests good on an ohm meter. Just seems strange that then when I simply unplug/replug all the connections to the circuit board it works again (sometimes!).

I'm guessing short somewhere in the circuit board? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Well like I told you on the phone... maybe you didn't understand, but it is possible that you may have bad solder connections or broken traces attaching to the pin row where the sensors plug in.

You'll have to pull the board, get a soldering iron and rosin core solder and go to town on them.

Nothing else to lose at this point. I'd definitely give that a try.

I got your board photo. Np. I'll give you a call monday on it.

Thanks.
