I just purchased from SpaPartsNet.com a Balboa Chlorine/salt generator, am awaiting delivery. It is 240 volt, I have a 240 volt wiring to my VS510SZ. I also purchased a Del Ozonator and recieved it yesterday, but it is 120 volt. In reading the wiring diagram, I see that I can move the W2 wire from the default 120v connection to the 240v connector, and this should convert my J47 and J29 outs to 240v (making sure I have the amp plug white and red wires moved properly.
My question is this...in order to connect BOTH the chlorine generator AND the Ozonator, it looks like the proper way to do that would be in using the J47 and J29 output, which means both parts need to be either 120v or 240v, but I don't see any way to connect both of these with mixed voltages, unless there is an output connector I'm not seeing.
Second question--by connecting the chlorine generator to the J47 Circ Pump output, and the Ozonator to the J29 output, does this mean that my chlorine generator and ozonator both work at the exact same times, both controlled by the programming of the VL 700S, and is this a correct application or does this present any programming issues? That is, will my chlorine generator be operating correctly at the right times, amount of times, etc.?
Help much appreciated.
