 Post subject: contactor rating
PostPosted: Thu Mar 25, 2004 5:15 pm
I need to replace a contactor in spa because there is no continuity through the coil, which I assume means it is bad. the ID label is unreadable but I can make out its a honeywell make. I know it is a 240v double pole contactor but I dont know what the coil voltage is or the amp rating is. It is off a Great Lakes spa, built around the time dinosaurs roamed the earth. What are my options to try to get a replacement part?

If your spa has a neutral line running to it, then its most likely a 20 or 30 amp contact rating, 115 volt coil.
