I have a Hotspring Jetsetter Spa its about 5 or 6 years old. Suddenly the temperature has become uncontrollable and all I see on the control panel is a UT-4. I gather this means the temperature is above 40c, I can vouch for this as it nearly skinned me! If I attempt to decrease the temperature it does nothing apart from display this message again. Also if I turn the tub off and let it cool down when I turn it back on the Ut-4 is still displayed. Is that a sign the control head has malfunctioned and would I simply just need to replace it. I am being qouted £75 call out charge and then the parts on top which I have been told will cost somewhere betweem £100 and £500. I'm pretty handy when it comes to DIY. Would installing a new control panel be a simple DIY job?
Any help appreciated!
Many thanks

uT4 means that the temp is turned up past 104. If it won't turn down check to make sure it is not on Temp Lock - is there a lock icon on the bottom left of the display? If so hold down both plus buttons until the lock goes away. Then turn down temp. If not on Temp Lock and it won't turn down then either the buttons are dirty and need cleaning, the control head (part behind control face) could need adjusting (tightening the 4 screws in different order) or you need a new control head.
