Hi just got a 2004 grandee got it up and running its heating running ect but there is a strange sound near the circulation pump, it sounds like a knock very steady i think its in side the cabinet to the left of the circ pump tub heated up to 107 . had it set to 103. all seems well except the knock, its fairly loud and im concerned like a new dad. please addvise thank you

If it is steady it almost has to be the circ pump itself...that's the only thing running.

It will not hurt anything but may not last too much longer. You can open it up to see if there is a clog, other than that there is not much to do.

Ok also the hot tub is set at 101 but rises to 108 i just set it to 99 to see if it will fall would that also be from a bad circ pump?

that noise is definatly louder under the filters than when i put my ear next to the circ pump itself ,are there any valves under the filters that would make a knock if not ill replace the circ pump thanks
