We just moved into a home that has a 1989 Pacific Marquis Elan hot tub, and we know very little about hot tubs in terms of their operation and maintenance. The prior owner did not have any literature on this unit, and I was not able to find much of anything via Google. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get the manual, or who to contact? Is Pacific Marquis now part of another company? Many thanks!

Was the previous owner the original owner? If he was he should be able to tell you where he purchased the unit and then you should be able to contact the store where he purchased it.
