I have an older Jetsetter Model J hot tub. It froze last year and broke a line somewhere inside. How do I get the skirt off to find the leak? Any and all help much appreciated. Thanks JR

Very carefully. Best thing to do is set the jetsetter up on (2) 6"x6"x8' posts, so it's off the ground, level. Fill spa with water and 6 oz. of blue food dye to the water. Once water starts leaking out under, mark area with perm. marker on rigid foam. Drain it, flip it up and dig from underside. We try not to go through the sides WHEN possible. Otherwise, start with a vertical board that overlaps another. Best to use a utility blade or putty knife and score under the overlap area of the board. Then start at the bottom of a board, using a hammer, tap the putty knife up under the the board. Slowly pry off. If you break them, they glue back together with elmer'w exterior wood glue. Or we can send you some boards. good luck.

Actually, starting at the top works MUCH better!! Yes, you will have to sacrifice a horizontal board, but once the top horizontal peice is removed, the rest will come off no problem, with no damage. Trying me remove the tongue from the groove on every board is a good way to truin every single board

Starting at the top, remove the uppermost complete T&G peice. Don't remove the very top piece, unless you wish to custom cut a replacement. Done it your way plenty of times (starting from the bottom) and ruined plenty of wood. Give it a shot- you'll be surprised

Use the same method for removing vertical peices- look for the double groove peice.
