which came first the chicken or the egg..so many spa problems right now... which is the problem and which are symptoms
MY la spa quest model 1997 having ongoing problems noit surewhat to fix right now....help please!!! :?

My spa was working fine till one day the gfi triped and wouldnt stay on....the heating element was shot, we replaced it with a part i bought from you folks. After refill it took super long (over a day to come to temp) and a FLO ICE flashing on panel it still flashes even tho spa heated to 101 and maintaind that temp... Then it started to leak a few inches a day until after 3 days when it lost a foot and was almost half empty and OH flashed. we filled it again, back to leaking a few inches a day and again took more than a day to heat up. jets and pump run on low speed only

Did we do something to cause this....is it the pump, sensor, or what....was the flo or leak problem building up and actually causedthe heating element to burn out? not sure where to start. not sure to trouble No visiable sign of dripping to me, but my husband says it is leaking around pump 1. any help is appreciated - i don't enen know wher pump 1 is... but i am good with computer and electic if i had some additioanl guidance ..deparately trying to fix before freeze stes in...
