Thanks again Swine for the thermister problem. Now the problem is where do the thermisters plug in? It seems where these two were plugged in are not original. One is glued or epoxied into the filtetr compartment. I thought it was screwed in, but it was glued in instead. The other was connected to the outlet side of the heater, but the thing I pulled out is about twice the diameter of the new one. Could this be a flow switch or possibly a new design? Where could I find any type of schematics for this tub? (plumbing and electrical) Thanks for any help...........Steve

The last pic was the discharge side of the heater. This one should be of the filter box where the thermistor was glued in.

Obviously that system's been modified for a different heater.

Cute mod.

Take a photo of the entire cabinet internals from about 6" off the ground. This would be interesting to see.

Heres a pic of the entire box as I bought it. Got a steady red light and all the pumps work as well as the clean cycle. I guess it will take a while to see if this thing heats up. Any advice as to where to reconnect things would help gteatly as well. Thanks, Steve

Glad you find the heater amusing. I have never owned a spa and just wanted to get one to see if we would use it. I have it up and running, but now I dont feel very comfortable about the heater. Can I get the heater that is supposed to be on it? Will it have the correct size holes for the thermistors?

Sorry for my amusement (at your expense) - I've been busy and hoping that Swine would reply tonight. I'll get back to you on this tomorrow (if he doesn't first).

Thanks for the photos, they've helped a lot!
