We have a Cal Spa Victory V-500 spa - bought new 1 year ago.

We are planning on moving the spa to our newly built (but not yet wired for a spa) home. It won't be connected for a few weeks and given our cool climate (avg temp below freezing this time of year) it will have to be COMPLETELY drained.

Can someone give me some tips on ensuring it is drained completely?

There is a hose bib connection behind the service panel - but I need to drain it 100% before moving.

Also - we are planning on using a crane to move it. Any tips or things to think about before that? It was craned in originally.

Thanks
