The last hurricane has trees, screens, roof hardware, you name it, in the pool.
The poor filter was trying to get stuff out while the power was going on and off for a week.
The end result is a totally messed up pool and a Sta Rite 3/4 hp pump that won't prime.
The only way to get this pool running again is to add a supply line out of the pool into the pump and fill it, walla! it catches and runs.
Now what could be wrong with my supply line?
I've flushed it, snaked it and blown it out, each time getting clogged debry floating out, hook it back and, no prime.
This supply line comes from the skimmer over to the pump about 40 feet away. It's scedule 80 at 1.5 inch underground flooded all the way with about 18' of lift to the pump inlet.
Is there a check valve in this line? Did it break somewhere underground? Is it just still full of debry? Is the pump to weak to pull up 18 inches?
I'm showing 20lbs of pressure on the discharge once I get it running and everything else looks normal.
Has anyone else battled this kind of problem?

I tried and tried , and finally found the problem was a coconut in the supply line.
I had apharently been pushing and flushing it back and forth until I finally saw it and pulled it out.
Now pump primes and the pool is slowly returning to clear.
