Can anyone help me locating a wiring diagram for Whire Plains spa mfgd in '96? How about an owners manual?

Hi Lect...

I can tell you I wish I had a quarter for everytime we're asked for manuals and diagrams. Many times they just dont exist. I just searched the internet for "White Plains Spas" and came up with absolutely nothing. This tells me that this is a smaller company...possibly out of business I don't know for sure, but I can garauntee...they didn't manufacture their own equipment. You need to look on the controller, in the controller, around the controller for information on who manufactured it. Even tho it may say "White Plains Spas" on it... its got to have the real manufacturer somewhere. Is it a mechanical pack with air buttons? Is it digital with a cirucuit board? and what is the problem you are having? We can probably help with trouble shooting this even with that basic information.

look forward to your post...

Barb

I got the spa home and found it to be a White Springs Spa. Well, I was close  Anyway, I looked around and I can find filters for this spa but I can not find any other info. The controler has White Springs Spas marked on it as well. A 120volt/240volt heater. Pneumatic buttons with relays. Everything looks good on it but need a little TLC. Do you know of a way to check if an Ozonenater is good? This one was unpluged so I want to check it before I buy a new one. I just wanted the wiring diagram to make sure if everything is hooked up correctly.

You say it was unplugged? Don't really know if it's any good or not, if it were me I'd just plug the thing in, stand back and turn on the power.

If it blows up, then it's no good. Just kidding.

Seriously, you could do a couple of checks with an ohm meter. Check from both power pins to the outside case to see if there's any continuity, if so, then throw it away.

Then check between the two power pins to ensure they're not reading a direct short. If so, then throw it away.

Also check to be sure that there is continuity between the ground pin on the plug and the case. If those three items check out satisfactorily, then it's reasonably safe to assume that it's ok to plug it in. But it's still not a good idea to hold the thing in your hands when you do it. I never like touching anything metal under a spa unless I see, and know for sure that the entire thing is double grounded... (Grounded thru the power cords, and to the outside of the case with the separate ground wire).

8)

Hope this helps.

Wow , I can't believe that I've found someone else with a White Springs Spa. I've search & search so I asked my nephew to try and he found this.
I bought mine from my neighbor and paper work got lost when he was packing to move. Well now my blower went and there's is nothing,no #'s ,nothing.
I do know that this was bought at Lowes, but they haven't had them for awhile and are of no help.
If you have any info or any place you could point me I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
