Hello all - I bought a house with a Discovery Spa that was in disrepair, but appears worthy of repair. The shell has no leaks. The 2-speed pump and blower work fine, but the heater and controls are garbage. I've removed the heater and controls (pneumatic), and installed a bypass spoolpiece in it's place to test the jets. I intend to purchase a retrofit heater to replace it once I have everything else working.

In both low and high speed on the pump, only half the jets have water. The filter gets no water flow at all (I removed the filter cover with pump running), and it does not appear that the heater gets water either. The skimmer has no suction, but the bottom suctions work fine.

My first thought was that there was a seperate pump for the heater/filter loop, but the heater and controls that I removed did not appear to have a circ pump.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
