I have a hairline crack in the shell on the outside edge. It is about 2" long. Is there anything i can do about it, or will it keep growing? And What kind of paint should I use if i fill the crack. It is a white 2001 Sovereign.

I usually drill a small hole in the terminal end of the crack, then dremel out a "V" shaped groove along it, then fill it with devcon epoxy. Also, I put a small wedge of wood (cedar shingle piece) between the shell and cabinet where the crack was to prevent the tub from flexing there if someone pushes on it.
