Hi I have a Hot Spring Highlife Model K- 241510, it is a 1994 Model that I purchased used from someone for healh reasons and it was not working when I purchased it. Unfortunatedly the person I purchased it from stiffed me and I have replaced the Wavemaster and the Silent Flow pump already on it and now it has a MYSTERIOUS Leak. It is losing about 4 inches on water per day and one of the jets that appears to be directly across from the area of the leak is also not working. The inside of the equipment compartment is completely dry. The water appears to be coming from underneath the spa itself. Does anyone have any suggestions. Hotsprings made a suggestion about the heater bleedline could be busted underdeath, if so how would I repair that? What would cause the one jet not to be working? Thanks so much for your help.

1994, Look for a hairline crack in the shell, especially around the light, and whole equipment side of the spa shell. By running your hand over the shell in the water, the oils from your hand magnify the crack which can be hard to see otherwise.

Does the jet not work at all or just no air coming out of it? Does your diverter (top large handle) divert water as it should?

An internal leak is never EASY. Best to get it off the ground on some 6"x6"x8' posts as sleepers. You'll need at least 4 for a highlife, running front to back from the equipment compartment. This enables you to see under the spa while it's filled.

We have 2 pre-owned Highlife's right now around the same vintage, so if you need anything or advice, we're happy to help.
