Hi, I purchased a used Hot Springs Grandee I believe around a 1996 model and When I fire up the number 2 jets button water starts leaking from somewhere above the control box and leaks down spraying on the control box. If I turn off Jet 2 it stops. Any ideas of a likely cause?

Thanks,

Matt

I would say to look up into the area of the main diverter valve (in the motor compartment) that controls jet pump #2. There are several lines that come out of the diverter assembly which provide water to the corresponding jets. If you live in an area that has freezing temps it may have cracked if water was trapped in the diverter while it was drained, or there could be a glue joint leak or something like that up there.

Thanks I found the leak. It is at the T connection on the upper part of the tub area at the PVC pipe connection. The next question is what is the best way to go about fixing the leak?
