hi, i have a 1999 infinity hot tub that has a leak. it is a pretty big leak but im not able to locate it. it leaks about 3 inches a day. it is not leaking in the motor area. the leak stops when the water line reaches the seats. there are no jets in the area when the leak stops. im leaning towards a shell crack but with the color and texture of the shell it will be hard to find a crack. will dye help to find? also what is the dye called and where can i buy it? thanks

I've read that you can use ordinary food coloring (preferably something dark) as a dye.

Good luck. I'm trying to figure out a leak, myself. I think I've narrowed it down to a jet, but I can't seem to take the darn thing out! It's pretty stuck in there.
