I need to replace an o-ring in my Watkins No-Fault heater (tri loop), I don't think OEM parts are available so I will try to get one through McMaster Carr or some other source. Does anyone know what material O-rings for spas are made of (Buna-N, EPDM, Silicone etc)???

Also, I always have used Jack's 327 multilube on seals for the pool and Spa but am having trouble finding it. Does anyone recommend a different Lube that is comparable with Jacks 327, or better?? Does anyone know of a good source to buy either??

Thanks

Go to home depot or ace or true value hardware to get the o-rings you need.

Lube them up with something that's good for pools/spas. (Don't know where you're located, but anything that is silicone based and will stain your pants like almost forever will work just fine).

Otherwise, any pool store should have some good lubricant for fittings/valves/sealing rings. Whatever they have will work off the shelf just fine. Lubricant is just a protective coating for the o-rings/gaskets and is a gap filler. Most everything will work, even the nasty permatex-2 from auto zone, (just don't plan on getting it off easy later on!).
