I've got a small leak coming from somewhere. It is on the pressure side, because it only occurs when the jets are on. I cannot see any water or leaks inside the access panel, including from any of the plumbing, filter area, etc. The tub is integral, looking from the inside.

The leak is either from a cracked jet, or from a hose. If it's a hose I'll have to live with it, because the skirt is not able to be removed, and ther is no space to work in the area (the previous owner built a gazebo around the spa).

I've attached two pics of one of the jets. I was able to remove the inner locknut fairly easily, but I cannot remove the outer ring; at least without a special tool. There also seems to be either a gasket or sealant between the out ring and shell surface. Not sure if that will be damaged when/if I can remove the ring.

My question is how do I remove this ring, and if a special tool is needed, where can I get one?

Also, what am I looking for as far as a 'crack', and where would I need to look?

Thanks everyone !!

Matt

Investigate leak from the side or bottom of the spa. Removing the jet face will only require you to get the jet from the side or bottom of the spa.
My suggestion is either live with the leak, or investigate it from the non-shell side.
