I am fairly new to hot tubbing (this one came with the house), but we are finding it a great way to relax after hard days at work. I have recently noticed that we have a leak everytime we run the jets. After further investigation I found it to be the pump. Because I don't know a lot about hot tubs, I figured that I would just take pictures to show where the leak is coming from. If you look at the pictures, the water shoots out towards the camera when the jets are on. I'm guessing its a pump seal, but I really don't know. Any advice on what the problem might be and ideas of fixing/replacing it would be GREATLY appreciated.
-Thanks
Matt

I'm having trouble attaching the pics. They are only 450 kb each, but I'll keep trying.

I had to crop a lot of the picture out. To the left of the picture is the WaveMaster pump and to the right is waht I believe to be the motor. Sorry for the lack of information on my problem. I was hoping my pictures would show the problem better.
-Thanks again
Matt

You guessed correctly, it's called a shaft seal.
If you've never replaced one before, I'd recommend calling a tech- it's fairly labor intensive, and at times can be pretty challenging getting the impeller off without damaging it.
