Moving right along with the rebuild of our Jacuzzi brand hot tub we are now running plumbing for the external equipment. The tub used to be an inground model I think and came with a 48 sqft de filter and 2.5hp pump with strainer pot. I don't why they had it setup like this but as long as it works I am ok with it. we have 2" pipe running to and from the tub to the external equipment, the pipe runs are about 15 ftea. and are run in a trench. The jets are jumbo Jacuzzi jets( 3/12") with 2" flex pipe running to each one. since the genius previous owner cut every piece of flex for some reason I am flexible on reconnecting the return line since I have to couple each one back together. The flex is going to the looped from jet to jet but I am trying to figure out if I should just tie the return line on one side or should I tee it and tie it in at two spots on opposite sides of the tub. The jets currentl have a 2" tee on the back of each one with a piece of flex running to the jet on either side of it. The suction line will be hooked to the skimmer which is teed into one of the bottom drains. For now the other bottom drains which are connected to nothing will be capped off for future use

plumbing a full loop around the spa with a tee off to the pump will do the job just fine - 2" plumbing running both directions around the spa from the tee will provide more than ample water to each jet
