I have bought a 5yr old Cal Spa/Kona about 6-mos ago.. since I have had it.. I have had to replace the Circuit board and switch Valve that sprung a leak.. I feel like I bought a Money pit!

With that said above.. Last Saturday... as it was running its 2-hr cycle.. I now see a small leak coming out from underneath.. Have no clue where it is coming from Can not see any water when I open the panel.. I can just here a drip... and it Only does it when Running..

Any suggestions "ideas" or Blunt feedback would be apreciated I have drained it.. and I do see some slicone hanging from one Venturi jet, should I place a bead around that? And can I fill the hot tub up 1/2 way start it and determine where the Leak might be coming from?(motor wont burn if not full?)

Being 4'11' I honestly don't see myself Turning it upside down and pulling the foam out.. and the $$ to have somone.. are out of my reach at the moment...

Thank YOU for any FEEDBACK!

I have a Cal Spa too that when the booster pump runs its normal cycle water leaks at about a rate of 100 gallons a week. Frustrating but not the end of the world. I am about to tear into it tonight and find it. As for yours, since we have the same brand, Ill see what mine does when I get into it and post again to tell you what I have come across in there. Maybe by some chance, your leak may be fixed easily if you know where to look first. Ill be the guinea pig.

Sounds like your leak is much bigger then ours.. I went ahead and order some Fix-a-Leak.. since ours is so small you can't see the water going down.. I poured it in yesterday.. and doing my 2nd cycle today.. then I will drain... clean and wait a week.. Called the makers in Canada.. they were very NICE! and called be right back.. since its foam filled.. they let me know give it a week to completey dry out.inside..since the foam might keep the sealent soft.. Let me know how your project worked out :D

Ps.. the site I also got some help from that answered my questions is handynmanwire.com.
