I have a Marquis MTS series spa it is about 7 years old. I have a problem with little chunks of white flaky things coming through my jets. It is allot and does not seem to be going away. I had asked a local dealer what they thought and they had me run some calcium deposit remover stuff through it. That did not work. Most recently at a home show another dealer said that there may be some delaminating on the back of my jets he said he sold Marquis in the past and that they used to use a Jet that on the back side had a thin coat of a paper like substance and that was most likely what my problem is. Today I pulled the front of the jets out and found some sort of O ring that seems to be flaking on all of them but the amount of these plasticy things seems like it would be to much for that to be the problem. Also I don't know how to take the Jet completely out. Any suggetsions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Gary Meigel

Hi, I have an older tub and I got alot of white flaky granules coming out the jets. I don't know if yours are the same but mine turned out to be pieces of the inside of the flex tubing. I found the source when I replaced a 3 foot section of the hose. I think my hoses were just old, but running my finger inside of the hose scraped off alot of the stuff. Mine wasn't any deposite from chemicals, it was just deteriorating.
Hope this helps. :?:
