I was just given a Jacuzzi spa which was purchased in 2000. The owner didn't feel that the jets were as strong as they once were so he gav it to me. I just got it hooked up and the high speed jets are very weak. In fact the waterfall that is located by the topside control just trickles out all the time and the flow from the jets is maybe just double than what the low speed is. I guess I'm not sure if both pumps are just getting that weak or there is another problem such as low voltage and the pumps are not running at full speed. The tub is 220V and I've ran new 75 ft of 6/3 wire to a disconnect box outside of the house. I somewhat question a 10ft chunk of used multistand 4 gauge I used to jump from the house to the hottub. Upon stripping the wire it looked a little green inside and I'm not sure if the voltage is dropping through this short run an not letting the pumps run at full rpm. Otherwise everything on the tub seems to work fine.

I'll probably replace that short run from the tub to the house and see what that gets me. I guess there are alot of variables associated with my low flow but I'm not sure where to begin. Any suggestions would be welcome

TIA
Matt

Well I replaced the short run of old cable I used with no improvement of flow. I just got new adjustable jets to replace the ones that are in the tub. I'll reply on how that goes and if there is yet any improvement in flow.
