I have a '98 Hot Springs Grandee. The flow out of the jets on pump #1 is very very weak. The pump runs and sounds normal. I do notice that when the diverter valve (to switch jets) is turned some flow still comes out of the jets that should be off. The filters are clean and I tried it with out the filters in with no change. The flow on pump 2 is completely normal. Any assistance or advice would be great!

If you disconnect the union on the front of the pump you'll be able to reach in and feel if anything is stuck in your impeller. There'll be water pouring out of it, so either drain the tub or be ok with getting wet.
Yes. A couple times ago. I don't know exactly what an air lock is but I always fill it with the hose stuck down the grey standpipe. I did notice that on pump 2 (one that is working correclty) when the pump is running and the diverter valve has those jets running, the ones that aren't supposed to be running have a bit of suction. On pump one (one that isnt right) the jets that should not be running have no suction but have flow coming out of them.

Find the drain plug on the pump housing and loosen it a bit. Then, with the pump running, pull it out until water starts to drip out. The will slowly allow it to work the air out of the line. Once it primes the water will be under pressure, so try to leave some of it threaded in so it won't be hard to replace.
