Post subject: Jet Pump leaks from input shaft
PostPosted: Thu Mar 11, 2004 5:01 pm
The Jet pump in my spa started leaking from the input shaft(drive shaft). The leak is slow, from around the berring. Is this a rebuild situation? The pump is a 1985. What is the best course of action here? :(

You need to get the seal replaced in that thing before the water destroys the front bearing and then you'll have a complete pump replacement thing to do.

Not very much to spend on this:

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thanks. 8)

It looks like I have a leak from the input shaft as well. I have a Century Spa Duty Pump (1081 pump duty). It's a Gatsby hot tub, model 100 schooner. What seal kit works with this pump? Thanks. Retta20
