Hello all. I have a leak in between my motor and my wet end but only when I switch to the high speed. It appears as though there is a broken piece spinning around on the center rod. Some kind of seal, or gasket?
So my question is....can this be fixed? And if so, do I need to replace the wet end? Find misc. part? Or give in and get a whole new system?

Probably a bad shaft seal ($15), possibly a crack in the housing.

Okay, so identify which one I need and then what? Take the wet end off of the assembly and replace said part? Either way I guess I'll have to disconnect and remove the motor/pump even to get a look at it huh?
