Old (20 yr?) Jacuzzi tub, sunk in the ground, motor/ pump/ control separate, above ground. After being shut off since fall, motor starts, runs for 3-4 minutes and then fries a capacitor. Motor is maybe 4 yrs old, 2 HP and has white stuff, similar to battery acid type corrosion on it. Also smells acidy for the few minutes it runs. Any ideas?
