Hi there.

I've got a new Image Renew 628 spa. I have it hooked up to a 240v 50a circuit and the tub has power and turnes on automatically like it's supposed to when I turn the breaker on.

Specs: Balboa ICON 15 System Electronics. Four button digital display. 4.0 HP two speed Emerson Aqua-Flo (120 GPM, 12-14 psi).

I can see the shaft turning on the motor, but none of the jets are working and there is little or no apparent water circulation. Since I turned it on over 12 hrs ago the water temp has not changed from 62, so I don't think the heater is working either.

I just felt both the motor and the heater. The motor is warm, but not hot and the heater is cold.

So here is my question:
1. Why don't the jets work? The motor is turning, and I can switch between high & low, but I don't see any water moving.

2. Is it possible that there is a set temp where the jets will not operate below?

3. Is it possible that the water level is too high? I've filled it to the middle of the filter door, but it may be a little high. Could that cause any of these problems?

This is a brand new tub!

Thanks for your help.

Mick

Ok, I found what I was looking for at http://www.spasupport.com (http://spasupport.com/airlocks/). Thanks to Pageup for having that site there.

The problem I was having was an air pocket in my impeller. I followed the directions to run the motor on low and open the upper bleed valve. I notices a lot of air bubbling out with the water while I was doing it. When the air stopped bubbling out I closed the valve, turned the pump on high and presto! It fired right up. Now I just have to figure out why my light doesn't work, and one of the "neck jet" valves won't turn off.

Hopefully this can help someone else with the same problem.

Mick.
