I have a Spa Depot spa, Monterrey style, about 5 years old. The water pump sounds like it needs to be replaced, but I am having a hard time locating the pump with specs that match.
Label states it is a Magnetek Century Lasar spa motor, RPM 3450/1725, HP 4.5-50spl, Hz 60, 230 volts, 12.0/3.5 amps, 2 speed, frame Y48Y. Part # is listed as 7-184821-04. (from some web searching, it appears to be thru bolt style.)
I would guess the exact pump is no longer being sold, and that an upgrade is in order, but which one to order, I don't know. I am fairly handy and had hoped to replace it myself.
I also need to replace the Super flo Insulated wet-end pump assembly as it leaks. I assume the parts come separately. It has a Waterway label on it, with a part 3 PF 45-2N-2500. (last four numbers rubbed away slightly.)

Sounds like a Magnetek BN62 motor, look for that designation on the data tag, which is really a 4 hp. The 4.5-5spl is just a "marketing horsepower". SPL means Special, don't believe the marked rating, the amps are also a good way to ID the motor. The SuperFlo was discontinued by Waterway a couple years ago, you can use a Aquaflo XP to replace your. Get the 3 hp, it will move as much water as the old Waterway Superflo. I have them available on the web site.
