After weeks of procrastinating, dh disconnected the hose and water flowed out of the pipe and out of the pump. When we powered it up again, it still does the same thing. We do not see any water flowing through the small clear hoses. I will upload some pics for you.

Well, you may just have a defective circulation pump if that's the case then...

Here is the pic that shows the clear tubing. No water runs through it.

You still haven't confirmed if your circulation pump is running.

Everything up to now has assumed that it is.

Do you know if it is running? If not, then your pump is probably dead and needs replacement.

For what it's worth, that picture only shows me the back end of a magnetek pump motor. Not a circ pump, not a heater... nothing that is related to what we're talking about here.

Please try again.

And also tell me if your circulation pump is running.

I keep asking dh if the small circulation pump is running. He says he doesn't know how to tell. In the pic that I attatched before, the clear tubing does not have any water running in it. In the pic that I am attaching now, it shows the other side and water is running just fine there. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for helping us try to figure this out!
