I've owned a Leisure Bay Hatteras spa for a little over six months now. The first time I drained and refilled my tub, one side of the jets was not working. After they called a repair service, they told me that it was an air lock. They suggested refilling the tub by putting the hose in the filter and that should prevent it. I've just drained and refilled the tub again. I'm having the same problem, same side is not working. Is this normal? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from reoccuring. Thanks in advance.

Yes it is normal for airlocks to occur when you refill your spa. No, there's no way to avoid it because it's the way it was designed unfortunately.
