I inherited a 8 seater cal spa built in 94. Have it up and running and am kind of disapointed in the pressure of the jets. Some do not rotate. The ones that do seem to not do much. I read up on this sight. Seems air is big part of it. I do not seem to see a blower for in this unit anywhere. There is a spot on the inside control panel to plug a blower in. It has a lever on top where controls are to adjust air. This does not seem to do anything when I turn it. Am I missing the blower ? Or did this cals spa not come with one.

Sounds like you have the same setup as me with 93 Model Cal-Spa. There is an electrical connection in the control panel, but no blower installed. I am told that this is common. It doesn't affect the operation as far as I can tell.

Forgot to speak to air comment. be certain you don't have an air lock in the system. what I do on refilling is 1. TURN Thermostat off! VERY IMPORTANT!! Otherwise if you don't have the water flowing through your heater element, it gets fried in seconds. 2. With pump running, crack open the bleeder valve enough to let the trapped air out-when nothing but water spurts out, close them back. Bleeder valves are in the PVC piping and about the size of a crayon when screwed out. Mine have a ??finger grip?? (for lack of better description). lOCATE THE HIGHEST ONE ON THE pvc PIPING AND START WITH IT. iF THERE IS ONE ON THE MAIN CIRCULATING PUMP, DO IT TOO. gOOD LUCK.

re: jETS ROTATING, MINE DON'T DO TOO MUCH EITHER.

All: Please excuse the shout. I didn't watch what I was fingerpicking!
