From what I recall, most of the LA Spas back then used Balboa Instruments™ control systems. This can be verified by the stickers on the controller box, or on the inside back cover - there'll usually be a wiring diagram with annotations that it's made by Balboa. Verify this and get back to me...

Take a look through LASpas® website above and see if you can at least visually identify what yours is. Exact model numbers or serial numbers aren't that important.

MEI is a Maddox System. You can get in touch with them here: http://www.turbotouch.com/

Or you can go the route of replacing that control with something that's got a little more industry support. I've sold and installed about 3 of the Maddox systems in my previous life, never had any problems with them, but couldn't find a suitable topside with their controller that made sense to my customers. Even LASpas is selling a Gecko retrofit kit for the older MEI packs.

I'd help you with that one if I could, but it's been too long so I'm in the dark. If you want to evaluate the situation more, then post back or send me a message.

Thanks.
