I also have my sundance pool (1998 Optima 850) standing since yesterday with the watchdog mode.

I think a technician would first reset the watchdog mode to check the problem. How can I reset the watchdog mode (at least temporary, to cicle the problem). There are a couple of jumpers on the board; does shortning one will may reset the watchdog mode?

Deactivate the power to the spa for not less than 30 minutes, when power is re-engaged the watchdog will be reset, if it appears immediately you probably need to replace either the hi-limit sensor or the whole circuit board
