My jacuzzi premium says to use a rag around the hose when refilling to prime the pump. Well, I think I forgot to take it out and then turned the power on to my spa without the filters in. (I know, stupid - but I always have to remove them to prime the pump again and was in a hurry.) At any rate, there is no sign of my rag and one of the pumps is operating but not blowing anything.

How tricky of a repair is this? The jacuzzi people said I would probably find the rag intact at one of the pumps. Any guess on how hard this is going to be? I have replaced a thermostat before, but haven't done anything with the plumbing. This is about a 2 year old spa.

Thanks,

The rag will be in the impeller of the motor that is not circulating. Shut the valves off to that motor and pull out the motor. You should see the rag right away.
