I have recently purchased a 1997 Cal Spa. I do not know the Model although it seats 10 to 12 people.

1. Power Source is 220V on a single 50 amp breaker.
2. The controls are Balboa.
3. Top side controls are by GE "Smart spa 4001" series and are electronic.
4. It has 3 GE pumps in it and all seem to be working.
5. Thermostat is digital and on the topside display.
6. The heater is a single crome tube behing the control panel.
Once I installed it at my home every thing works except for the heater. The circulation pump,jets,blowers and everythink else seems fine. When it is powered the heat indicator is on with no heat. I checked contunity across the heater coil and it is good. With the spa powered and the heat indicator on I checked vlotage at the heater terminals and ther is no voltage there. I also checked the pressure switch and it seems to be working fine. Do you have any sugestions on what I should check next?

There are a couple of small relays that feed the heater circuit. You'll have to do a close inspection to be certain that they are closed and passing power to the element.
