Sorry, I am brand new at this. Just bought a 2000 Hot Spring Sovereign and found the GFCI built on to the cord is defective. This is setup as a 110volt so i have a cheater cord on it for now. Filled the tub and everything seems to work but no heat. The heat indicator light on the circut board is showing the heat is on. How and what should i test to see where the problem is? I took the heater wires off from the circut board and tested continuity. The meter buzzed so continuity is good. Point me in the right direction.
Thank You.
Marty in PA.

A spa working on 115 volts will take up to 24 hours to heat.

You mentioned no symptoms regarding the lack of heating or how you checked for it.

Remember, 115V spa = wifes blow dryer is heating the water.

Can take a long time to see results.

I placed my hands onto the tubes of the heater. Should I be able to feel a warmth at this spot?
