I have a three year old Sweetwater Palermo that I recently found in the overheat state. The water temperature was the ambient temperature. When I reset the unit, the temperature fluctuated between 103-112 (112 initiates overheat mode). I tested the temperature sensor, but am not for sure how it operates. What I found was 20ohms resistance... When I cooled the sensor down, the resistance increased to about 22ohms (this was with icewater on it). I'm really not sure what normal resistance is for any temperature value, so I don't know if it has failed or not. I'm looking for any insight on this issue... Has anyone else experienced something similar? I can't seem to find the model # of the sensor--I haven't removed it yet... Any idea where to get the model number? Any help on this is appreciated. TIA
