Hi,

I have a Gerico Hot Tub, I think it is a Citation #33. It has a Carlon heater. When I took the tubing apart from the 2" pvc pipe, I didn't see a heating element. Does this hot tub have a heating element? If not, how does this thing heat? Any information would be helpful.

Thanks,

Chris

Yes it should have a heating element.

Gerico's are very very old systems and use antiquated 6 volt control relays (the one's that I've worked on) which are almost impossible to find. (Unless you've got a really old Radio Shack store in your town that would have them).

Carlon is a plastics manufacturer. They manufacture a lot of stuff, and if you're ever in a Home Depot store sometime, check out the grey electrical junction boxes... Made by Carlon.

Only other thing you can do to help this situation is to post a photo of your setup.
