If your tub drained out, and you don't have a flow switch, you may have to reset your heater overlimit breaker. This is often a red button that you push (it will click if it resets) and can be found either on the main control box, or the heater element housing. Most of the time it is really close to the thermostat. The thermostat may be defective too, but check for that heater overlimit breaker.

have you checked to see if you're switch is working?
could have a bad relay?
faulty wiring?
low flow or no flow from the circulation pump?
things to check... beyond that is a bad circuit board
