I am having a strange issue with my Jacuzzi Echo 120 Hot tub. I received this tub from someone else who did not use it for about 1 year and it was stored outside. They say it was working perfectly prior to storing it. Now, the tub heats fine, however, once it reaches it's desired temperature, the pump shuts off, but the heating element stays charged and hot. This causes the water in the heater assembly to get very hot until eventually an SN1 error code is thrown by the high limit sensor and the tub shuts down. Also, when the pump shuts off, there is a fizzing (purring maybe) sound coming from either the control box or the heater assembly. There is no motor or pump in that area so I don't know what could be causing the sound.

I have replaced the heating element (just used one out of my old hot tub), as well as the thermostat and high limit sensor. I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any ideas? I hope I don't have to replace the control board.

None of what you replaced would be related to this problem. Possibly a stuck relay of bad flow sensor.

We have a Jacuzzi Echo Whirlpool hot but Model Z120. It was working fine but now the heater shuts on and off by itself and doesn't stay on even on economy. Right now it keeps saying Flo and constantly shuts itself off even though we haven't changed anything. Is there a timer or something that was accidentally triggered? We received this hot tub from someone else last year and it ran fine, no problems. This is a recent problem and we'd like to fix it so the hot tub will stay at the 104 temp that we set it at. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thank you.

Some Possibilities:

dirty filter
clogged pump impeller
the pressure switch vibrated out of adjustment.

Where would we find the pump impeller and pressure switch? We don't have a manual so I'm not sure where to look for this things. Thank you.
