Greetings,

First, thanks to everyone who posts/replies to this forum. It's been a great help over the past few years.

I have an '02 Leisure Bay S-2 Series spa. Approximately 2 weeks ago I returned home to find the breaker tripped. I re-set it and all has been fine since. Not sure if this has any bearing on my current problem but thought it worthwhile to mention.

My current problem - I came home today to find the tub cold. To be honest, I cannot remember whether the breaker was tripped or not (I'll pay better attention next time) but regardless, I re-set the breaker and the tub had power. The display came on and showed that the tub temp was 84. There were no error messages...it simply displayed the temp. This seemed like it would be a normal "re-set the breaker problem" until I tried to turn on the jets - I got nothing. Just a CLICK. The heater is also not coming on. Again, the display is not giving me any type of error message, power is clearly getting to the tub, the temp. "up/down" buttons work properly, and the light works. Any ideas?? We had a pretty good freeze here (well, good for N. Fla. at least) last night. Could that be a factor?

Thanks for the help y'all!
Katie

It is possible that if your spa is set up to run 240V power, that you are missing one half of that. The spa control will run on just 120V power, but the pumps and heater will not run without the full 240V. You might want to check (using a voltmeter) for full power at the buss bars in the spa cabinet, and at your disconnect points between the spa and home panel. You may find a bad connection or a bad wire somewhere along the line.
