I have a Leisure Bay Spa, equiped w/ a Pro Shield Integrated Ozone Purification System. The spa came w/ the house and has worked great for the last 2 years. Recently, the heater light will not come on nor will it heat. I had one company come out and they did no work just told me to replace the heater w/ a different manufacturer for $1000+. After the service man left, the heater light came on and heated the spa for 6 hours, then the heater light went out and it stopped heating. It has not heated in several days.

The unit is roughly 10 years old. Could it be just the heater element? A loose wire? Is there any manuals on how to check/replace the heater element. I understand the element is only $60.

The Module number is: G1010CLSS0-CA
Serial Number: H065395

Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Probably just a dirty filter or press/switch that needs adjustment/replacement. You can try it yourslef, or call a pro. I'd avoid the guy who came out first. Your problem is one of the most common, simple, and least expensive to fix in the idustry.
